Service Description

Embark on an unforgettable wildlife adventure with Sitali S Travel and Tours as you explore the breathtaking Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park — one of Zambia’s most remarkable conservation areas and the only park in the country where you can see the endangered white rhinoceros. The Game Drive and Short Rhino Walk is designed to provide travelers with a unique opportunity to experience both the excitement of a classic African safari drive and the thrill of approaching some of Africa’s most majestic creatures on foot, all under the expert guidance of professional local guides and armed park rangers. --- Tour Overview This 3 hours activity begins with a hotel pickup from any accommodation within Livingstone. After a warm welcome and safety briefing, guests are transferred to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, located just a few minutes’ drive from Livingstone town and the world-famous Victoria Falls. The park, whose name translates to “The Smoke That Thunders”, offers a serene yet wildlife-rich environment that showcases the true beauty of Zambia’s wilderness. Your experience starts with a game drive in a custom-built open safari vehicle, allowing unobstructed views of wildlife and the surrounding landscape. As the vehicle winds through mopane woodlands, grassy plains, and along the banks of the Zambezi River, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, warthogs, and various antelope species. The park is also home to hippos, crocodiles, and an impressive variety of birdlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike. Midway through the excursion, the game drive transitions into a short guided walking safari, where guests disembark the vehicle and set out on foot, accompanied by an experienced wildlife guide and an armed ZAWA (Zambia Wildlife Authority) ranger. The walk offers an exhilarating chance to track and observe white rhinos — the park’s star attraction — in their natural habitat. These rhinos are carefully protected by rangers who monitor their movements daily to ensure their safety from poachers. Approaching these magnificent creatures quietly and respectfully, you will gain a deeper appreciation of their behavior, conservation importance, and the challenges they face in the wild.
